KENYA AA Intense, complex, refined, consistent, Kenyan coffee is meticulously prepared and graded. You can always count on it for an excellent cup. The aroma is lush and complex with hints of black currant and leather. The first thing you notice when you taste it is a grapefruity acidity. This coffee sparkles dryly in your mouth. Next you'll discover its full body, cassis-like flavor and lingering dry aftertaste. Brew this coffee in a french press to reveal its most powerful expression.
ETHIOPIA HARRAR We know it as "The Wild One", this coffee can provide a different experience with every cup. Most of the coffee from the Harrar region is harvested from wild native trees and processed in very low tech fashion on small family farms. This results in a dizzying array of tastes that can vary significantly from harvest to harvest. Our current crop is on the full side of medium bodied with an aroma and taste akin to dried cherries. You may also detect a pleasant sandalwood aroma. An exotic, flavorful coffee for those looking for something out of the ordinary.
TANZANIA PEABERRY Peaberries are a natural phenomenon created when one seed instead of two forms inside the coffee fruit. Some people believe peaberries are sweeter and more intense than their dual bean counterparts. We also like them because their round shape helps them roll around in the roasting bin making for a nice even roast. This coffee is medium bodied with a milder acidity than our other African offerings. The aroma is delicately floral and the finish light and sweet.
YEMEN Another "Wild One"! Harvested and processed similarly to the Ethiopia Harrars, this coffee is also complex and variable. Our current stock is medium bodied with an intense aroma and long dry finish. Every sip will impress you with layers of chocolate, spice and smoke.
